What are these nubby/knotty textures on my Hemp carrier?

Our hemp carriers are woven material. Due to the natural properties of Hemp, this fabric may appear to have a 'nubby' texture that gives each piece a unique look and softens with wear.

These nubs are entirely cosmetic, and will not affect the integrity of the carrier.
